Symphony

Yes, I actually love listening to orchestras I mean it sends me into a whole different world full of peace and relaxation. My favorite is the ones that comes with a story. I really love the atmosphere and I can really picture the story as it takes place. My love for Symphonic music honestly started back to as a kid watching Loony Tunes and Sesame Street. That's when it began because if you were to take a cartoon from the famous animated series and mute the character voices and sound effects, the background music is what? Get my point?

Well I must say musical taste starts at an early age!

Inspiration!

It can come at any moment for me but I have to say that once I get some new equipment people finally will see what inspires me most. I have a storyboard plan on how I'm going to bring my photography and cinematography projects together. I just need a little more time to get things prepared. I'm collecting pictures for now and once I expand and really get my films together it's going to be fantastic trust me on this one. I was encouraged to do a lot of motivational or religious broadcasts but I also want to do one centered on the Arts and Entertainment Media. I know I sound like a complete nerd but aren't most creative geniuses a nerd?

I also had a long conversation with a friend of mine to look through the history of Romantic, Thriller, Psychological, and Horror films. I was thinking about it don't get me wrong but it's going to take a lot of time but I decided in the end I was going to do it! It's amazing what you can bring to life with imagination. Well, I'm going to do my research, some writings and get this idea rolling. With the help of Jehovah I can't go wrong!

Take Care

Blessings Coming Through!

I have been in Commercial Arts classes for a month now and I'm already picking up on tricks and other cool things I can do with Graphics since I am studying to be a Graphic Designer! I did my entry for Digital Wizard that is due on Friday so I'm excited to see how that turns out to be honest. It's an art contest that gets your work published on the magazine if you win or a trip to Hawaii and other cool prizes. Entries are already posted on the website and talk about awesome entries. I don't think I will win but it sure is fun to enter and try, it gets my work some exposure!

I did an awesome Michael Jackson themed project that I did and I am going to do another one and trust me it's going to turn heads especially in the wake of the upcoming O2 concerts in July! I am also going to work on some new logos for NBA, NFL and NCAA teams but who knows maybe they might get considered so I can only hope for the best! I also want to do some fashion themes starring Lauren Conrad, Beyonce and The Kardashian sisters.

I am starting to notice a lot of things when it comes to Advertising and to be honest a lot of the ads I see in the inner city promoting club events, parties and things like that... are TOO TACKY! No kind of creativity whatsoever! Talk about I get disgusted at he sight of them. Even if it's just for Entertainment there has to be some degree of Professionalism because if I can't read it or I am turned off by it then it really didn't get the point across! I feel either they should hire professionals or take the time to scan their work over to make sure it's something that will attract the masses. It takes more than word of mouth to get people to come out to events that is why there are so many ads all over!

Thinking Outside The Box!

If it's one thing I love is originality and when film directors think outside the box it really excites me. I am a huge fan of Tim Burton because of that fact alone, he has an idea and draws the viewer to his world. I think he and Johnny Depp are THE Dynamic Duo honestly I do.

I really loved his vision of Sweeny Todd, I happened to have seen the play and though you have limitations with a stage I still have to say I favor the film. The film packed with emotion and outstanding cast is nothing short of stellar.

I loved Helen Boham Carter's performance as Mrs. Lovett! I seen other actresses take on the role but Helen impressed me the most with her performance overall. Most convincing and perfect how Burton's vision came alive.

After seeing the film and owning the DVD one thing really shocked me. Who knew Sacha Baron Choen had such a voice?

I challenge many directors to be as daring and creative yes we know his style but when comes to bringing a story to life Burton is genius!

Talk About Awesome!

Anybody who truly knows me know that I have a thing for Movies. That doesn't mean I'm extreme with it. I just love the special effects and seeing the behind the scenes. I guess people wonder where my love of film cultivated? To be honest it had to be when I went to Disney's MGM studios. Yes, I had a chance to see the classics become alive before my eyes. I saw Pocahontis, The Lion King, Aladdin, Beauty And The Beast, along with The Little Mermaid before they hit the theaters and became DVD classics. Talk about a blessing can you imagine just having the chance to see the testing of the films before it got a chance to become a classic and mega success?

Animation is just one of many genres that really sparks my passion. I love watching Horror, Comedies, Action, Mystery, Classics, Shakespeareans coming to life. To be honest I can be amazed by children's classics as well. My favorite novel as a child was always The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion The Witch and The Wardrobe. When Disney brought the film to life you could only imagine how excited I was. Because everybody loves to see what Disney going to bring to the table. Hands down from the rides to animation to film Disney has been nothing but stellar. To spark the imagination of every child of all ages is just....

Let's just say amazing would be an understatement.

I'm a huge fan of Creativity you know real originality. I like when films bring the story to life, it doesn't always have to go by the book I mean come on it's Entertainment step outside of the box. Film makers that are willing to step up to the challenge and don't believe in impossible are those I admire and respect I truly do. My personal opinion is there is no impossible when it comes to film; like many would say it's only a movie but I say it also takes a little movie magic to make the impossible and the imaginative become alive.

That is why I also have a love for photography because when the camera captures a still I know some people think only of just seizing the moment or capturing a memory. Well to me it's more than that. To me a picture should tell a story of not only what happened that day but to capture the emotion. What were your thoughts when you captured that moment? Did you take that picture to waste film? Or to the beauty was so amazing you just had to seize that moment? Why save a memory? You see it's more of you manipulating your audience. It's all in how you interpret the image that keeps your audience amused. You can make them think outside the box in so many ways over a simple picture.
Now with the rise of technology and fun things like Photoshop who knows what we can do when we manipulate photographs and add graphics and special effects? Well only time can tell. I remember grinning like a toddler when I was doing slide shows and movie maker for the first time! Photography and film goes hand in hand in many ways and when you add my other passion which is music along with fashion and art to the mix, you're just asking for it okay? LOL!

So really talk about AWESOME!!

Cinema And Me!

I had to ask myself why I named this blog Astonishing Admiration? Well because I have an astonishing admiration for the arts! I am a extreme lover of photography and film and this blog will concentrate on the strengths and weaknesses and the never before seen or even attempted. I also have a love for technology. Call me a tech or geek or nerd it doesn't matter to me! Just that if it's hot and it's of tomorrow then I'm there faster than the blink of an eye!

I will be giving an in depth view on everything from behind the scenes to from photos to videos and my analysis! Hope readers enjoy it as much I did putting it together. Even if it's for killing time thanks for stopping by!
